Items can be returned within 14 days after the shipping company has confirmed delivery. All returns shipping charges lie at the customers expense. If an item has been received damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order and send us images of your damaged or incorrect item so we can assess. If images are sent at a later date, we may not be able to refund you or replace the item. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. There are no restocking charges for returns. 

Items that we do not accept returns on:

• Items that appear to be worn.

• Items that have been damaged.

• Lingerie or swimwear.

• Styles purchased as final sale. A style is considered 'final sale' if it appears in the sale section and shows an individual marked-down price or is purchased on sale with a coupon code discoutning more than 15% off.

• Styles purchased on a holiday event such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday using a discount code.

• Orders sewn with customized sizing.

All of the above sales are final which means that any item purchased under the above conditions are ineligible for a refund OR exchange. Please choose carefully and check the product descriptions before purchasing. 

When returning items, we suggest using a tracked service to ensure safe delivery. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure we receive your returned items safely. Your order will be exchanged or refunded once our team has received the return and inspected its condition to confirm it is eligible for a return or exchange. You will then be emailed with an update of approval. 

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and we will issue a credit within ten business days that will automatically be applied to the original method of payment. 

At Dose of Subtle, we aim to provide you with high-quality products and exceptional customer service. We want you to be entirely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you may return it within 14 days of the delivery day, subject to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility for Returns

1.1. To be eligible for a return, an item must be in its original condition, unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags and packaging intact.

1.2. Items that are marked as "Sale" or "Non-Returnable" are not eligible for returns.

2. Initiation of the Return

3. Return Shipping

You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Please use a reliable shipping method with tracking to ensure the safe return of the item. All items must be returned in their original packaging.

4. Inspection and Approval

4.1. Once we receive your returned item, it will be inspected to ensure it meets the return eligibility criteria. We will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your return.

4.2. If the return is approved, we will process your refund.

5. Refund Process

5.1. Refunds will be issued in the same form of payment used for the original purchase.

5.2. Please allow up to 30 days for the refund to be processed and for the credit to appear on your statement. The time taken for the credit to appear may vary depending on your financial institution.

6. Exclusions

Dose of Subtle does not accept international exchanges. Returns are accepted for eligible items as outlined in this policy, but exchanges for international orders are not available.

8. Changes to the Returns Policy

Dose of Subtle reserves the right to modify this returns policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

By making a purchase from Dose of Subtle, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to this 14-day returns policy.

We take pride in offering thoughtfully made-to-order garments. Each piece is carefully crafted, and we ask that you allow up to 2 weeks for production before your order is ready for shipment. Once your item is completed, we use standard shipping, which takes approximately 5-7 business days within the US. Please note the shipping time is in addition to the order processing time.

We offer a flat shipping rate of $15 on all US orders. However, shipping is free within the US if your order totals $300 or more.

Once you submit your order, you will receive an order confirmation. Once your order is on its way, you will receive a separate shipping confirmation.  

While we sadly do not currently offer international shipping. We are actively pursuing this option and hope to offer standard shipping worldwide very soon. If you are located outside of the US and wish to make a purchase, please email us at contact@doseofsubtle.com with your full shipping address, and we can do our best to provide you with an estimated shipping cost and delivery timeframe.

Please note that all payments must be made in full before we ship your order. For all returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

We are committed to sustainability and creating unique, one-of-a-kind garments. That’s why we exclusively source deadstock fabrics for all our designs. Deadstock refers to leftover, unused fabric from mills or fashion houses that would otherwise go to waste. Instead of letting these beautiful materials end up in landfills, we give them new life by incorporating them into our collections.

We carefully curate the highest quality deadstock fabrics, and because we source them in small batches, each style we create is part of a limited-edition run. This not only reduces textile waste but also ensures that your piece is truly special and unique, crafted from fabric that may never be available again.

We offer standard sizing for all of our garments. You can find detailed measurements in the sizing section on each product page to help you select the best fit.
